Why Fungaging Learning

Lori started working with computers in 1984. Without a purpose to learn, they didn’t make sense. When she joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1985 not only did she find a purpose to use them, they were required in her job.

As a self-starter and inquisitive learner, Lori soon excelled at fixing and troubleshooting first hardware, but after seeing the benefits of what could be done with the software, she was hooked.

For the past 25+ years teaching has become Lori’s passion, whether it is elementary students or 90+ years old adults, no one leaves Lori’s space without learning something about technology.

Lori earned her Associates of Arts in General Studies, a Bachelor’s of Arts in Middle School Education, and a Masters in Adult Education with a Community College Certificate. She has been a Toastmaster for 10 years, earning Toastmaster of the Year, and Division Director of the Year, (for showing individuals how to use the computer to mainstream the workload). She has been creating websites since 2000 after retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps.

Why Fungaging Learning? If learning isn’t fun or engaging then people aren’t interested and I want to bring people together professionally while uniting friends and family in this now virtual world.
